Half a Year

Yes, I know, it has been 6 months since I last updated. I've been busy lately. With school and such. So I'm just going to do a quick post, then I'll be back to regular posting.

Took the UPCAT, ACET and MCET. College exams were okay.
Great news: I passed Miriam College (Course: BA Communication)
Proof: http://www.mc.edu.ph/academicunits/college/results/ATCU-8Oct2011.pdf

I'm just waiting for the results of the UPCAT and ACET, which will be out next year.

Been busy with senior year lately. Vice-president of the student council, Teenpreneur, and thesis stuff. Yeah, this keeps me busy.

I've read several books too: The Hunger Games trilogy, The Little Prince, The Count of Monte Cristo and more... Currently reading The Prince.

I know I promised I'll do write-ups, recaps and stuff, most likely I'll do them next summer. I'm just so busy.

So many thoughts, so little time.

Title says it all: I've got things to say, but I'm kinda in a hurry, so yeah..

Last holy week, I got my retainers... It annoys me when I eat. I can't enjoy the delectable meals... :(
And, I got Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. Yeah baby!

Monday, April 25:
First day of review. Diagnostic exam. Didn't do well. But I'll do better. No, my best. And I'll pass UP.
4th day of Fully Booked JBC workshop. It was an awkward and fun day. Yeah... Stuff happened.

Tuesday, April 26:
Second day of review. Math 1. Tiring, but yeah. Met people.
Went home instantly.

Wednesday, April 27:
Third day of review. Filipino. Okay, alright... Yeah.
5th day of Fully Booked JBC workshop. Same 'ol, same 'ol. Shirt fitting. Got our IDs. :)

Thursday, April 28:
Dad's birthday. Wee. :)
Fourth day of review. Math 2. Tiring... But, yeah. Okay.
Went home.

Friday, April 29:
Fifth day of review. Gen. Sci. Didn't know we had to bring the Physics book. But, oh well. I managed somehow. But seriously, I'd have to do the best of my best.
6th day of Fully Booked JBC workshop. Last day. We had to travel in time to remember our workshop days. I bonded with the "orderves" people. Had so much fun with them. Then, we had to do some sort of palanca letters after dedicating books to the JBC. I was really touched, especially with Rog. And Summer, I just love her book! I'll marry it! :)) And Bread's no longer Peanut Butter. So, yeah. I was touched with the palancas, and they were in-love with my shirt (The Superman shirt.).

Saturday, April  30:
Finished Pride and Prejudice.

So, I'm rushing. I'll elaborate the whole JBC thing once it is done. And the review as well. Promise. :)
Plus, I'll be getting my UPCAT appie form. :)

Math 3 tomorrow. First day of in-store training tomorrow. Oohh.. :)

JBC - Week 1

First week of JBC (a.k.a. Junior Book Crew of FB. Again, a.k.a. Fully Booked.) : excitement, awkwardness, and fan war seems to erupt in every session. Anyway, 1st day was last April 11. I got there at 3:30. I was looking at people, wondering if they were one of us. When we entered, we don't even know each other and like, someone should break the awkwardness. I met Rog and the awkwardness was broken. Well, sort of. They gave us our handouts, and there was a power point... Then, discussions, workshop stuff, and we entered the World of Wordcraft. We had a break, activities, and yeah... And first erupting fan war: Bieber lovers and haters.

Day 2: Wednesday, April 13.
So, the awkwardness lessens. We had activities again, and yeah... Not much elaboration, we played the blanket game. I got it right during my turn, since "Manly Miggy" really stuck in my mind, as well as "Exotic Ella" and "Superultramegafoxyhot? Sophia". We paired up, I ended up with Sophia, and the pairs paired up. We paired with Rog and Summer... So yeah, activities... And an erupting fan war once again.

Day 3: Friday, April 15.
So, we presented our thing, and yeah... Then, yeah... (I'm seriously in love with yeah... The World of Wordcraft really had an impact.) And yeah... Seriously, there was this one time when a certain co-JBC irritated almost everyone in the JBC... And, yeah... And one of the hilarious stories ever was heard today... ;)

I'm doing homework and stuff, but this week has been fun so far...

No words for this.

Last night, I checked my e-mail. I found out that I got in the JBC! I was so ecstatic, like seriously. So, now I'm gonna share stuff about the interview, since I got in. (That was the deal, right?)

The interview was supposed to be on White Day, March 14th. But since it was our final exams that week, it was moved to the 18th. I was running late that day, it was our exams, and there were... complications. So I got there at exactly 3, waited at Starbs, and then I was interviewed. I wasn't that nervous but I was thinking if I might get in or not. I'm that shy when it comes to adults and I'm kinda holding back from them, so yeah. But I did it! *woot* During that time, I was like, "Chill, Jamiya, chill. It's gonna be done sooner or later." I mean, the only adults I'm comfortable to talk to just like my regular self are 3 people. And I'm not gonna spill who. Even with my relatives or strangers, I can't open up to them that much.

Anyway, I'm so excited for the JBC. I want to be surprised. (Like I said in that interview.) I can't wait for it!

Review is still on-going. The actual classes haven't started yet, but I'm self-studying. I'm halfway through Biology.

Incoming Senior. *claps*

Yeah, it's been official, official. Yesterday was the card distribution and my grades are okay, and yeah, I'm an incoming senior. After that I'm off to college. *sigh* Why does time move so fast?

Not much to say, except that I've started to review for CETs... Yeah...

Summer: Either way, I'm still studying.

Yeah, it's already the beginning of my summer yesterday. But, I'd have to study for college entrance exams... So either way, I'm still studying. Yesterday was our Recognition Day, I got 3 medals.

I said I was going to add Nicolas Sparks on the "ALMIGHTY" list, and I am. Not only that, but I also took interest on Pretty Little Liars... I wanna read the books some time soon...

I watched the 3 Twilight films a while ago... Just felt like it. Valentine's Day as well.

I know I'm slacking off from reviewing, but, next week, the work really begins.

Another Day...

So, it's just another day... But this last week wasn't.

I passed my JBC form, as you could recall, and was scheduled to an interview last March 14th, at 4:15 PM. I couldn't make it, so I had it rescheduled to March 18th at 3 PM. I was kinda nervous, but I managed to make it through... :) I wouldn't elaborate much on the interview. Well, here's the deal: if I get in, then I will. :))

Which reminds me, if I DO get in the JBC, that means after review, I'll go straight to FB. Hectic and challenging, yes, but I know I'll manage. Although it'll be costly. I enrolled at LSC yesterday. :D

I finished my exams last week. *woot* Although I hope I passed them with flying colors.

Unfortunately, we don't celebrate White Day here in the Philippines. And even if we do, I never really gave any guy a Valentine's Day present.

I finished "The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes" last night. All I need is "The Best of Sherlock Holmes" to complete my collection. And, last March 15, the last book of TVD Return Trilogy, The Return: Midnight, was released. I saw it in FB when I came for my interview. And, as much as I'd like to grab it, I can't. :(

I am so shocked of the tragedy in Japan. Ganbatte ne, minna! Ganbatte!

My dad already left on a jet plane a few days ago. He'll be back from time to time.

Nothing much to say except I'm adding Nicolas Sparks in the "ALMIGHTY" list.

2 more books!

The title says it all: two more books! That's right, I only need to read two more books to finish the 4 novels and 56 short stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who brought to life the greatest sleuth of all time: Sherlock Holmes. I  have finished "His Last Bow" this morning. I also started to read "The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes". Yeah baby! Let's go Sherlockians, Holmesians! :)

One of my new goals asides from going to Japan is to go to 221 B Baker Street. ;)

Yeah...

So, I know I've just posted a few hours ago. ('Coz I'm becoming more active!) But, I wanna share this: I have finished "The Valley of Fear"! It took me 2 hours to finish it... :D So, I'm gonna read "His Last Bow" now, then "The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes" and buy the last book, "The Best of Sherlock Holmes". Then, I'm gonna read a different book. (Probably I'm gonna buy the last book of The Vampire Diaries Return Trilogy, since I've been waiting for a year...) Yeah baby!

Never Give Up. - ayimaj

It's been a while... As in a while.

Yeah, I know it's been a while since I last posted. I even forgot what I last posted... I think it was last January?

Anyway, I finished "The Return of Sherlock Holmes" already. And "The Valley of Fear" (Part 1). I'm in part 2 already, then I'm gonna read "His Last Bow". I also bought "The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes" today. I've got a lot of books lined up. And, I'm making a list of it after this.

I am almost done with my clearance. *woot, woot* And, final exams next week. I also starred in our play "Fairy Tale Chronicles", the script written by yours truly. I played Snow White. Funny thing, a few hours before the play, I fell ill. What a relief it was when I got better, although, the next day, it was the deadline of the clearance. Despite the fact I didn't feel well, I had to rush my requirements.

Gonna enroll for a review this summer at LSC. Already picked a schedule, just have to fill out a form and pay. :) And, I passed an application form for Fully Booked's JBC. Hope I get in! :)

I also hope that I get into U.P. next year. As in, really hope. That's why I'm doing my best.

Still haven't come up with that write-up. I'm gonna work on that when I find the time. Trust me, I've been looking for time.

Gonna make a list of upcoming books I'll be reading. and what I've read.

Saturday, February 12, 2011

It's been a while.

A statement that'll never fail to amuse me. And since it's been almost a month since I've updated, umm, yeah. It's been a while.

After almost a month, I finished "The Return of Sherlock Holmes". Took me quite a long time though, but hey. It was quite long. It was even longer than "A Study in Scarlet", "The Sign of Four" and "The Hound of Baskervilles". But I started to read "The Valley of Fear" with of course, Professor Moriarty! I'm gonna write a write-up if I find the time, trust me. I'm super busy lately.

The prom. Not much happened. Food was okay, we danced, and such. I only ate Roast Beef. I'm not satisfied though.

I don't have much to talk about, I guess. I just don't want to mention stuff here in public. We're having a play, and I'm Snow White with the Seven Giants. School year's ending, and I'm becoming a senior. College applications are in the air.

Randomness...

Yesterday and Today.

So yesterday was the day I finished "The Hound of Baskervilles." And the first day of the Intramurals.

Yesterday was okay I suppose. The cheering was fine for me, and I joined Patintero. :)) It was really a fun experience, although I'd prefer Piko a.k.a. Hopscotch. Sadly, it wasn't included. Well, ever since I was a kid, I joined Piko, and we always won. :)) It's the "sport" I really love to join during the Intramurals. We already had it, but then we lost it due to pressure.

Next was Basker --er, Basketball. I was forced to join, and it was a super fun experience. I had my "moments" and such, but I'd prefer to play on the court of Little Tikes. :))

Today: road trip, resting, swimming, bonding, SLEEPING.

I started to read "The Return of Sherlock Holmes" today. Did some sleeping, eating, bonding and swimming, but mostly chilling. Enough said? BTW, I'm undergoing leg cramps. So, uggh.

I said I'll be active on Multiply instead of Facebook, so I'll be working on it. Also, I'm trying to learn the ropes of Lookbook. And, I'll be blogging more. :D

TTFN.
